The lodge was consecrated on 2nd October 1948.

The banner is Royal Blue in background edged with crimson and fringed with gold at the base. Within the banner is a pale blue rectangle again edged in crimson upon which is laid a keystone over the emblem of the city of St. Alban’s together with a mantle from the coat of arms of that town.

The banner was dedicated 25th April 2015.
