The chapter was consecrated on 20th June 1962.

 

The 1st banner was dedicated on 28th June 1972 having been presented by E Comp Herbert Pearson. The banner depicts a Hertfordshire “Hart” superimposed on a green field with a sunburst and contains the names of all first principals up to and including 2005. A second banner designed by W Bro Graham Kolthammer, shows the same design as the first but with a triple Tau in place of the list of first principals was purchased with a bequest from Leo Francis (a founder) and dedicated on 23rd November 2012. The 1st banner was "retired".
