The chapter was consecrated on 24th May 1993.

The banner depicts a "fiery Green Dragon" which was said to roam the area many thousands of years ago. It was also the name of a local hostelry, where a depiction of this can be seen on a public house in Vicars Moors Lane. Winchmore Hill, It was dedicated on 25th January 2000.
